UNIT 12 – INFLUENCES ON BEHAVOUR OF CHILDREN 0-15 YEARS
UNIT 13 – SKILLS AND STRATEGIES FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE 0-15 YEARS
UNIT 14 – SUPPORTING FAMILIES IN DAILY LIVING
UNIT 16 – SUPPORITNG CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN TOY LIBRARIES
UNIT 17 – SUPPORITNG HEALTH PROFESSIONALS
UNIT 18 – WORKING WITH CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
UNIT 20 – WORKING WITH CHILDREN UNDER 3

Entry requirements
To apply for this award or any of the units applicants should -
- Be 16 years of age
- Possess a level 3 qualification in Childcare, Playwork or any other equivalent Childcare related profession
- Be working directly with children or young people
Duration of the course
Each unit is studied in depth over a period of 20 weeks, 1 half day or 1 evening per week (3 hours) Candidates will need to attend class for 60 hours in total
Cost of the course
Each unit costs £300.00 per person (please see our funding page for more information)
Will candidates get a certificate ?
Yes, upon successful completion of the unit assignment candidates will be awarded a certificate from CACHE. They will need to complete ONE unit assignment. This will cover things that candidates have studied on the course. There is NO test for this award. Candidates will be supported in achieving the unit award through tutorials and assignment workshop sessions.
