About us
Horizons Childcare Training are a CACHE Approved Training Centre that delivers courses the North East and North Yorkshire. We only offer CHILDCARE TRAINING COURSES and courses related this role, for example Special Needs Training and Paediatric First Aid Training. By specialising in Childcare Courses, we are able to focus on the needs of your individual setting and can provide tailored training that meets your own particular requirements.
Horizons Childcare Training understands how different Childcare providers and practitioners work and we know that your training requirements are very much different from those in other professions. We are able to offer high quality, flexible, affordable and accessible training that meets your individual needs
Our training is available for all Childcare Practitioners, including Nursery Assistants, Teaching Assistants, Childminders, Playwork staff, Crèche workers, Out of School Club staff, Foster carers, Youth Workers and anyone else who works, or hopes to work with young children.
At Horizons Childcare Training we offer flexible training packages including Onsite CACHE NVQs Level 2 to 4, where there is no need to attend College or a training venue. We have day and evening, other Accredited Courses from Level 1 to 3, a wide range of CACHE Level 3 Professional Development Courses and we also offer a programme of Short Courses in childcare related subjects including Paediatric First Aid (meets with Ofsted requirements)
We are already working closely with some Local Authorities in the North East and North Yorkshire area and are currently developing new programmes of training. We are also working closely with Nursery chains and other independent organisations, supporting them with their staff development programmes.
At Horizons Childcare Training we have qualified Tutors and Assessors who are committed to supporting organisations and practitioners through their training.
